ES
Era el martes de carnaval.
Nébel acababa de entrar en el corso, ya al oscurecer, y mientras deshacía un paquete de serpentinas, miró al carruaje de delante.
Extrañado de una cara que no había visto la tarde anterior, preguntó a sus compañeros:
—¿Quién es?

About the book
About Cuentos de amor, de locura y de muerte
Horacio Quiroga's best-known collection: stories of love, madness and death, many of them set in the forest of Misiones — a feather pillow with a secret, a man bitten by a snake drifting down the Paraná in his canoe. Quiroga admired Poe, and it shows.
In the LangOrbit reader, Cuentos de amor, de locura y de muerte opens with the English translation alongside, a dictionary on every word and audio in a Latin American or Spanish voice. The words you save go into your daily Spanish lesson.
