The opening lines
How Cuentos de amor (selección) begins
It can never be said that the unfortunate Eva omitted any lawful means of getting rid of that rascally little Love, who pursued her without leaving her a moment's rest.
She began by putting distance between them, traveling to break the spell that binds the soul to the places where Love first appears to us.
Useless precaution, wasted time; for the rogue of a boy climbed onto the back of the carriage, crouched under the train seats, later slipped into the handbag, and finally, into the traveler's pockets.

In the LangOrbit reader, Cuentos de amor (selección) opens with the English translation alongside, a dictionary on every word and audio in a Latin American or Spanish voice. The words you save go into your daily Spanish lesson.
